How does reservation process work?

Once you have selected a date and time for your charter, The full amount will be due at purchase of charter package that you have selected. 

How many people can the boat accommodate?

There is a maximum of 6 passengers.

Can I bring my own food and beverage on the boat?

Yes. Guests can bring their own food and beverages. Our one request is that guests abstain from bringing red wine onto the boat, due to its staining nature. Guests are responsible for disposing of any remnants at the end of the charter. 


What is the minimum time that I could book for this charter?

Our guests can book a charter from anywhere between 2 – 4 hours. We will admit that time flies when you are having fun, so we suggest booking a charter for the full 4 hours. We cannot guarantee that we can extend your time at sea, once on the boat, due to other charter obligations. 

What is Dérive Charters cancellation policy?

Is there parking for me and my guest when we arrive?

There is available parking near the docks. 

What kind of safety equipment is provided?

All of our boats are equipped with life jackets, fire extinguishers and first aid kits, in compliance with the rules and regulations of the State of New York. 

What time can my guest and I start broading the boat?

All parties can begin boarding 20 minutes prior to the reservation time. 

My guest or myself are running late?

If you and/or your guests are running late, the boat will not leave until the client confirms with the Captain. However, your booking time will start at the time scheduled. Times may not be adjusted due to other charter obligations.

What NOT to bring?

· Pets 

· Self-tanner/bronzer

· Red wine

· Hookah

· Glitter/confetti

· Avoid denim or jeans, we recommend light clothing 

What is the shoe policy?

Due to the sensitive nature of the boat's flooring and deck. Shoe are not be worn onboard the boat.

What should I bring?

· Towel

· Bathing suits

· Light clothing

· Food/beverages

· Light shoes. Sandals, slippers, flip flops

What if there's hazardous or bad weather at the time of my departure?

We do offer hazardous or bad weather cancellation refunds and charter rescheduling.

What if I want to cancel my charter

Hazardous or bad weather

We reserve the right to cancel and/or reschedule your reservation, after speaking with you, if there is bad or hazardous weather.
